Journal Club Diversity Medicine

Discuss current research, reflect on methods, and think interdisciplinarily. In the Journal Club, researchers from the Institute of Diversity Medicine present and discuss current scientific publications, results from institute projects, and methodological approaches. The hybrid event is open to all researchers and students at Ruhr University Bochum.

What topics are covered?

In our Journal Club, current scientific publications on diversity medicine, ongoing projects at the Institute, and methodological discussion papers are presented and discussed. The aim of the event is to exchange ideas on cutting-edge scientific topics and to learn together.

The event strengthens analytical skills, expands knowledge of current developments, and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration.

Format and target group

Each session lasts 60 minutes: 30 minutes presentation, 30 minutes discussion. The event is held in a hybrid format, with both on-site and online attendance.

The Journal Club is designed for researchers and students at Ruhr University Bochum who are interested in diversity medicine and seek to deepen their scientific expertise through interdisciplinary exchange.
