Seminars and bedside teaching
The Institute for Diversity Medicine offers practical teaching on RUB premises and at the bedside of St Josef Hospital Bochum. Students and medical professionals gain insights into translational research, clinical care and diversity aspects of medicine.
What topics are covered?
During bedside teaching, participants experience the reality of care directly. The direct encounter with patients makes it possible to reflect on theoretical knowledge in practice. The aim is to combine evidence-based approaches with practical relevance and to sensitise students to context-conscious care.
