Visit to the State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia

Professor Ina Otte and her colleagues Sebastian Paschen and Moritz Roloff visited the State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia

Professor Ina Otte, along with Sebastian Paschen and Moritz Roloff, had the opportunity to discuss the importance and urgency of inclusive medicine and the role of social determinants, such as education and employment, with Meral Thoms, a member of the state parliament of Nord-Rhine Westphalia and the health policy spokesperson for the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group.

The discussions were characterized above all by a sincere and genuine interest on the part of policymakers: a fundamental basis for taking these issues seriously and addressing them within the healthcare system.

Given the urgency of these changes, we at the Institute for Diversity Medicine look forward to future collaboration.
